Who We Are

DECCA is the under 18’s drug and alcohol service for Sandwell. We can work with any young person who lives in the Sandwell area for drug and alcohol related issues (excluding nicotine use).

DECCA cover everything from education in mainstream schools, to education in the community, to working with someone who is experiencing issues with drugs such as; alcohol, cannabis, volatile substances and class A drugs.

What We Do

Universal - Drug education to Sandwell primary and secondary schools covering subjects such as medicine, tobacco, vapes, alcohol and cannabis.

Targeted - Harm reduction and prevention work within non-mainstream settings including Sandwell Community Schools (SCS), SEN schools and alternative training providers.

Community - Events, stands and walk-abouts providing drug information for young people and the wider community.

Treatment - Help and support for under 18's, who have alcohol and/or drug related issues, using a holistic approach and a mixture of interventions, education and counselling.
