Spice is often smoked in a ‘joint’ with a bit of tobacco, similar to cannabis.
IMPORTANT –Some batches of spice are made up of synthetic cannabinoids (the active ingredient found in cannabis) and some are not. Others are made up of a collection of other herbs and plants that have similar effects to cannabis. These could include: blue water lily, dwarf skullcap, Siberian motherwolf and others.
The effect that spice has on the users mind mimics the effect of THC ( the bit of cannabis that gets you stoned)
Law
All types of Spice were legal highs but batches containing synthetic cannabinoids became a class B drug in 2009. Batches without synthetic cannabinoids are still legal.
