Some drugs are legal and some are illegal. Illegal drugs are given a class, A, B or C under The Misuse of Drugs Act.
Each class comes with different penalties and these change depending on whether you are in possession, are supplying or intending to supply.

You can also receive an unlimited fine for any of the above offences. The difference between possession, supply and intent to supply can be a bit confusing.
